The Cumulus modular sofa range is created to provide a comfortable seating with generous and soft look, while still maintaining the functional and technical qualities required for public seating and contract use. By using various foam qualities the upholstery is maintained flat and easy to clean and the seat firm to give good support for dining in restaurants. With a soft monolith look the sofa modules are the framework for building flexible seating groups. The Cumulus sofa consists of three sections which can be combined by choice; one-seat, two-seat and a corner module.
The sofa modules can be combined to fit various rooms and may efficiently create clusters or spatial partitions. However, sometime it’s more space efficient to use furniture pieces without a clear direction or rear side. Therefore, in 2014 and 2015 the range is completed with poufs in two sizes; a compact square one-seat version and a large five-sided pouf which invites to social interaction in dynamic seating islands.
