Sketching is an intuitive and natural part of my work process as a product designer. It’s a tool to get quick feedback on ideas, a way to elaborate shapes and forms. However, I rarely use sketches alone to present an idea. They belong to an early and intimate phase and are seldom refined, but repetitive and busy in search of expression or character.
I've been asked by Cologne Design Gallery to reveal typical process sketches of two of my most renown designs - a sofa and a light. Perhaps you can recognize the products?
Available as a limited edition art prints, 35 each signed and numbered.
