Track lighting is one of the most used and appreciated lighting systems for office and hospitality applications. Although there are many manufacturers most track spots are fairly primitive in terms of aesthetics. The typical design is dictated by technical requirements and most track lights share a similar cylinder form.
For our second collaboration with South Korea’s AGO Lighting we took on the challenge to create a small, but powerful track spotlight which meets today’s technical requirements with a form that is visually pleasing and refined. To distinguish the design from conventional cylinder spots our starting point was to break-up the form and divide the spotlight in two elements. A typical bell shape is used and duplicated to breaks up the construction in two parts and add a graphic and friendly expression.
The Bell spotlights have a minimal, but soft form and will provide a refreshing addition to the contract and hospitality market. The friendly shape is particularily suitable for domestic use where traditional track lights may appear too technical and cold.
Bell is equipped with a LED COB (Chip on Board) module available from 8.2 up to 21.7 Watts for both home and contract applications. In addition to the regular track spot a version with suspended arm is available. Choose between matte black or white finish.
