My first series of illustrations for Paper Collective in Denmark - Sketchbook Abstracts - reconnect to my creative process as an architect and product designer. This new collection is likewise informed by my work method and aesthetic preferences, exploring minimal lines and shapes to achieve strong and unique character.
The new series include three illustrations and is called Line Art. All illustrations are based on one single line translated into a three-dimensional plane, or reimagined as a heavy lineweight in typography. These simple lines are transformed into colourful and graphic volumes, triggering a new and richer aesthetic. The name, lastly, is a lighthearted reference to the recently so embraced line art drawings often depicting abstract faces or sensual silhouettes.
