Stick Hook (2016)
From the Bay, Taiwan
Stick is a minimalistic interpretation on the archetype of a hook, with an oversized and playful expression. The reduced form is based on the shape of a wood stick cut in half. The simplistic expression is emphasized with a concealed wall fixture bracket.
The Stick hooks are available in a range of desaturated colours: Natural ash / White / Grey / Black / Terracotta / Green blue

From the Bay is a new design brand founded by an American expat located in Taiwan. The company rely on 30 years of experience in sourcing and manufacture for external clients. In 2015 Jonas Wagell was invited to contribute with design, strategic design consultancy and art direction to create a collection of high-quality products and furniture primarily for the evolving North American market.
The first products from the collection was previewed at Wanted Design in New York City in May 2016 and an extended collection will be presented at ICFF in New York City in May 2017.
