The Collect tables are designed as an aesthetic complement to the Kite sofa collection with simple lines and balanced proportions combined with earthy marble tones and warm wood texture.
With a base of stained solid oak constructed around cylinders and horizontal planes, the tables share design vocabulary with the Kite sofa, but the form elements are further simplified and minimal. All tables in the range are distinguished by a shelf framed with distinct boarders on three sides creating a volume for placing and storing books, magazines, or perhaps decorative objects. The height of these side boards brings forth slightly unexpected proportions creating an informal and lighthearted expression.
The table tops are made of warm, textured marble and have bevelled edges and rounded corners to correlate with the soft expression of the wood base. With such simplistic lines yet warm materiality, the Collect tables are designed to be transitional between homes and hospitality settings.
On a conceptual level, Collect is also a contrariety response to the foregoing Expose tables introduced earlier in 2021. Where Expose are designed to highlight objects and items like a glass display box, the Collect table are designated to keep and conceal for a clean and calm expression.
